Dear friends, dear members of the foot addict community of EFAS,
Because the ongoing situation due to the COVID-19 Pandemic for the next months, remains uncertain but also unpredictable, most of EFAS scientific events for 2021 moved from face to face to on-line. A very appealing program is in progress and will be available very soon.
Nevertheless, we must remain optimistic for the end of 2021. To maintain the traditional face to face congress, so highly appreciated, EFAS will organize in Lyon a meeting at the Palais des Congrès from 21 to 23 of October 2021!
The congress website will be updated in the next coming days and the abstract submission process will open shortly. Manuel Monteagudo and the Scientific committee members are working hard. A combined version, including on-line sessions, would ease the attendance of Australian and Chinese Societies, EFAS guest societies.
Thanks to Don Mc Bride and the EFAS council, I will be the Chairman of this congress.
I shall have the honor to welcome all of you in Lyon, France, highly appreciated worldwide for its so huge heritage: history, arts, cook, wine.
Further gorgeous details will follow in the next weeks to encourage you to join us to celebrate such a re-birth of EFAS, after more than 18 months of exchanges restricted to on-line. Fortunately, our reciprocal enthusiasm during webinars maintained the link to lower the loss of a previous so strong relationship.
Our secretary staff will be more than happy to support and help you firstname.lastname@example.org (for any society-related matters) and email@example.com (for any questions related to EFAS events).
The Covid pandemic is all but off, so we need to maintain a high index of caution. Keep going with the Covid Barrier actions and go to vaccine when available!
I do believe the future will be sunny and bright for our community.
Stay tuned! Wonderful surprises could arise in the upcoming next weeks!
We look forward to seeing all of you on Lyon on 21-23 October, 2021.
EFAS Immediate Past-President
EFAS Lyon 2021 meeting chairman
